This section displays a map of where in the world our classmates are currently living (general to the city).
Classmates must register their address below in their profile to show up on the map.

Most classmates should find that there is profile listed for them here. But many of those are listed with very old information which has been ported over from the original class website. For help ensuring your profile information is correct, refer to the Classmate Email Addresses list later below and these User Tips.

Comment:
After high school, I went to St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. For a number of reasons I only stayed there one and one half years before transferring back to WSU in Superior. This turned out to be a blessing since my mother died from cancer in September 1968 and I was able to spend time with her. Upon graduation from WSU in 1969, I was commissioned into the US Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant. I was assigned to the University of Utah, where I studied to become a meteorologist. My first assignment was to Tyndall AFB, Panama City, FL. as a weather forecaster. There I married Denise Collins in November 1971 and later left for pilot training at Webb AFB, TX. During my 20 year Air Force career, we traveled all over the US (Phoenix, AZ; Tacoma, WA; Tampa, FL; Valdosta, GA; and Victorville, CA). I also had a remote assignment to Udorn, Thailand in 1973/74 and an accompanied assignment to Seoul, Korea in 1983-85. I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in September 1989 as a Command Pilot with more than 2000 hours and numerous staff jobs. I might have stayed longer in the service, but I got very sick with Lyme’s disease and major arthritis problems in 1984. This ended my flying in the Air Force. I could have gotten bitter and given up, but God had other things in mind. Our family moved back to Valdosta, GA, where I became a church administrator. After two years, I decided to become a teacher at Valdosta High School. I taught chemistry and physics for 11 years and then became an Assistant Principal, while I still taught part time for 5 more years. I really enjoyed my time at VHS, especially since I got to spend lots of time with both of our sons, Michael and Matthew, during their high school years. My wife became a school counselor at VHS also. Working with high school students is rewarding but quite demanding. After 16 years, I retired again at age 60 and am relaxing and enjoying life. Denise and I have now been married for almost 36 years. Every year gets better. Michael (31 years) is a captain and pharmacist in the US Army. He is married and has two children, Seraphina (4 ½) and Isaac (2). Matthew (28) is married and is also a pharmacist in northern Georgia. I do not know what God has in store for us. Physically we are doing well considering some of the arthritis problems I have had. I am able to fly privately again which I enjoy. I get to read and play golf. Life is good without having to jump to the school bell schedule every day. Being a grandma and grandpa is good too. We are active in the Episcopal Church. Denise has become a priest in the church and I play trumpet in our church orchestra. In the future I might go back to teaching part time or something new. I am trusting the Lord to give me direction. I look forward to seeing many of my “old” classmates from East High in future reunions. I hope and pray that each of you is doing well also. |

Classmate Email Addresses
The classmate email addresses below are being provided here temporarily to aid those classmates listed in verifying the site has the correct email address for them under their classmate profile. The profiles in the Classmates list for these folks have all been updated with the current email addresses shown for them here. You'll find two lists of email addresses below:
- Verified email addresses which have verified as accurate in the Dec/22 time frame through email exchanges with their owners.
- Validated but unverified email addresses: This list came from one that was maintained over the years by Pat with updates folks would send her. These emails are valid in that an email to them was not rejected by the mail servers. But no response was received from the associated classmate so we don't know if the classmate is actually receiving these emails any longer. If you see yourself on this list, then please Contact us to provide your correct address information.
The plan is to remove the view of these lists from the site after folks have had a few weeks time to veify their address is accurate. Since we've ensured these addresses have now been included in each person's classmate profile, keeping the list here isn't needed to communicate with them and presents the concern that some internet troll might snatch them for use in spamming operations.
Note that the email addresses in the list here are the same as those configured (but not displayed) under each correspondingly named classmate profile listed earlier above. Note though, that the email adddress list here does not cover all the profiles that are listed above. That is, some of the classmate profiles above are for classmates not named in the below email addresses list. Those other profiles may not have an email address configured or may have one that isn't included in the list below. For help ensuring the email addresses for those other profiles are correct and for help ensuring the general information, such as home mailing address, for any profile is correct, refer to these User Tips.
