I Goggled myself yesterday and was delighted to find the East High Reunion web site. I attended Washington Elementary with Devon, Sod, Jack and Nanette Granquist as well as Linda Cramer. My family moved to Mpls at the beginning of my sophomore year at East High. I would have graduated with the class of '65 if we had remained in Superior. I attended and graduated from Spring Lake Park High in the suburb of Spring Lake Park in 1965. My journalism instructor suggested my name would be more interesting if I changed it to Sherri, for writing purposes. It stuck and today I am aka Sherri A Stern. I married one year after graduation and moved to Fargo ND. During that time I attended college and earned a degree in Dental Hygiene. I practiced as a dental hygienist and had two children. My marriage to Joel Herring ended after 25 years and I remarried 4 years later to John Stern. I live in Fargo, ND at 1458 S River Road, 58103. My career has taken me from dental hygiene to banking with retail boutique ownership in between. I currently hold the position of VP Regional Manager for mortgage lending with Bremer Bank of Mpls/St Paul. I am the west region manager and reside in Fargo. I am currently looking to enter another career change, in banking but with another entity. I'm not ready to retire and plan to work as long as the profession will have me. Attached is my most recent business photo. I do not have a photo from my freshman year annual so I may not be recognizable to most classmates as we do change with age!!! Married the lovely Carol Sorensen (Cathedral grad) on January 4th, 1969. Being a proud Navy man, I promptly took her away from friends and family and moved to Corpus Christi, TX to set up our little love nest. Ten months later our first son (John) was born. From there we moved to the Aleutian Islands, residing on Adak, AK for almost 6 years. During out time on Adak our second son (Mark) was born. Then it was off to Kingsville, TX where we lived for 3 years. We then were handed the opportunity to move to Guam, where we stayed for another 6 years. I was commissioned as a Warrant Officer and transferred again to Corpus Christi, TX for 2 years and then we were off again to Moffett Field, CA. We managed to get both sons through the same high school in the 12 years we spent in CA. Moffett Field was decommissioned and we packed our bags again and moved to Whidbey Island, WA. I retired from the Navy after just short of 30 years and we moved to Apple Valley, MN to be near aging parents and family. My Navy career was marked by 15 years as enlist from E3 to E8 (Aviation Electrician) and 15 years as a commissioned officer WO2 to WO3 and O3E to O4E. Mark and John met two wonderful women, got married and had children. John and Holly live in Waconia, MN (30minutes away) and have provided us with three wonderful grandchildren. Dani is 5, Nathan is 3 and Amanda is almost 1. Mark and Heather live in Apple Valley, MN and have provided two grandchildren, Austyn (11) and Bryne almost 2. Carol and I love those kids to death and spoil them almost daily. I'll stop with the grand kids stuff or this could be "real" long. After I retired from the Navy, Carol went into retirement/grandma mode. I went back to work at Rosemount Inc in Chanhassen, MN, where I've worked for the past ten years, as Senior Technician. My main job title covers repair and maintenance of industrial laser welders and as well as a host of sophisticated test equipment. I love it and thoroughly enjoy what I'm doing. I'm not planning on retirement till about 70 I love it so much. Hobbies? Over the years I've collected and enjoy many. Motorcycle riding, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking, backpacking, fishing, stained glass work, guitar, banjo and online gaming, just to name a few. I play guitar/banjo, regularly, in a local christian rock band mostly playing for youth groups and benefit's. But the nemesis of my wife and greatest obsession (besides my wife and grandkids) is, as many already know, paintball. I play almost every other weekend in the summer from local fields to as far as Michigan. Next year I may be going to Oklahoma for a 3 day game. I probably have 6-8 painball markers (PC for guns) and a large amount of other related equipment including a vest similar to a SWAT vest. I've even got into modifying them to improve performance and because of it I have become a fairly good CAD draftsman and machinist. Most Humbly Yours, Larry |

Classmate Email Addresses
The classmate email addresses below are being provided here temporarily to aid those classmates listed in verifying the site has the correct email address for them under their classmate profile. The profiles in the Classmates list for these folks have all been updated with the current email addresses shown for them here. You'll find two lists of email addresses below:
- Verified email addresses which have verified as accurate in the Dec/22 time frame through email exchanges with their owners.
- Validated but unverified email addresses: This list came from one that was maintained over the years by Pat with updates folks would send her. These emails are valid in that an email to them was not rejected by the mail servers. But no response was received from the associated classmate so we don't know if the classmate is actually receiving these emails any longer. If you see yourself on this list, then please Contact us to provide your correct address information.
The plan is to remove the view of these lists from the site after folks have had a few weeks time to veify their address is accurate. Since we've ensured these addresses have now been included in each person's classmate profile, keeping the list here isn't needed to communicate with them and presents the concern that some internet troll might snatch them for use in spamming operations.
Note that the email addresses in the list here are the same as those configured (but not displayed) under each correspondingly named classmate profile listed earlier above. Note though, that the email adddress list here does not cover all the profiles that are listed above. That is, some of the classmate profiles above are for classmates not named in the below email addresses list. Those other profiles may not have an email address configured or may have one that isn't included in the list below. For help ensuring the email addresses for those other profiles are correct and for help ensuring the general information, such as home mailing address, for any profile is correct, refer to these User Tips.
